This Minecraft tutorial explains how to use the /seed command with screenshots and step-by-step instructions.

Each Minecraft world is created using a seed in the World Generator. Say, you absolutely love the Minecraft world that you are exploring, but have no idea what seed was used to create the world. There is a way to find out the seed and then share it with your friends.

Let’s explore how to find the seed for a world using the /seed command.

The Minecraft Java Edition (PC/Mac), the syntax to find the seed value used to create your world is:

The easiest way to run a command in Minecraft is within the chat window. The game control to open the chat window depends on the version of Minecraft:

For Java Edition (PC/Mac), press the T key to open the chat window.

2. Type the Command

In this example, we are going to find the seed used to create our world with the following command:

/seed

Type the command in the chat window. As you are typing, you will see the command appear in the lower left corner of the game window. Press the Enter key to run the command.

Once the command has been entered, the seed value will appear on the screen:

You will see the message “Seed: xxx” appear in the lower left corner of the game window, where xxx is the seed value. This number is the seed value that you would use to recreate this world again.

How to create a Minecraft world with a seed

If you’re just starting out in Minecraft, creating a new world in the game is much easier than you may think. + Wooden planks: ván gỗ, để làm sàn

+ Wooden stairs: để làm bậc thang

+ Wooden fence: hàng rào gỗ

+ Wooden slab: phiến gỗ.

+ Door: Cửa

+Glass hoặc glass panes: để làm cửa sổ

+ Nguyên liệu khác để trang trí nhà

Đặt các Wooden fence vào phía trên và phía dưới để tạo thành hàng rào của thềm nhà. Thêm 2 tấm Wooden log vào đầu mỗi hàng rào để tăng tính thẩm mĩ.

Dùng các hàng rào và khối gỗ để tạo thành khung nền tầng 1. Ví dụ ở đây mình tiến hành làm một sàn nhà hình vuông, có diện tích 16 x 16 ô.

Dùng ván gỗ để lấp trải lên và tạo sàn tầng 1.

Sử dụng Wooden planks và Wooden log để dựng tường các bước tường. Trong quá trình xây dựng các bức tường, bạn có thể để những khoảng trống xung quanh để thêm Glass làm cửa sổ. Để tăng tính thẩm mĩ, bạn có thể đan xen giữa các loại gỗ màu sáng và màu tối để ngôi nhà trông đẹp hơn.

Cuối cùng, để hoàn thành ngôi nhà, bạn cần xây dựng mái nhà. Mái nhà có thể là dạng mái bằng hoặc mái ngói tam giác. Thông thường dạng mái ngói tam giác xếp tầng trông đẹp hơn nhưng cách làm lại phức tạp hơn.
