Here are the Official League 10.24 Patch Notes for reference. Check out our patch notes breakdown here!

If you have any questions about our choices or process, ask us on Discord!

Now that you know the best champions for LoL, get the best champions for Teamfight Tactics with our new TFT tier list!

We also have a best decks tier list for LoR and an agent tier list for Valorant.

Methodology TLDR:

This list was curated in collaboration with our League Experts: Adam ‘Moriarty’ Isles, Dan ‘Aux’ Harrison and Phy, and our Role Specialists: Shikari, Only, Command Attack, and Yen. Unlike most tier lists, we publish ours before, or as a patch goes live, according to the predictions of our in-house experts.

Our first tier list aimed at lower elo, specifically gold elo and the surrounding brackets. These picks are effective when utilized in lower ranks and are the best tools for helping you to climb the SoloQ ladder as far as Diamond.

Our second tier list is for high elo, aimed at Diamond 2 and above. These picks are curated by our experts and are an indicator of the champions inherent strength when played at the highest level. For a lot of the user base this information isn’t super relevant for their games but provides invaluable insight into the game itself.

We made the decision to return to two tier lists after heavily reviewing the feedback from our users. Ultimately we agreed that a general tier list aimed at Plat+ wouldn’t serve a majority of the playbase and we had missed the mark.

Our difficulty system relies on “Skill Floor”, meaning that a Simple champion will yield results faster (around 5-10 games of learning)

If a champion has a higher skill floor (Hard or Severe), it will take more time to learn them (20-50 games +) but you will be rewarded with better results over time whereas a Simple champion may fall off as you climb higher.

For a more in-depth explanation for our methodology, head to the bottom of the article.

If you’re following our tier list, we know that you want to climb as fast and efficiently as possible. Sign up for our platform to use the best improvement tools for League of Legends!

NOTE: Our tier list will be accurate when we publish at the beginning of the patch but are constantly updated by our experts. If you visit in between patch releases, be sure to check our official website’s LoL Tier List feature for the most up-to-date info.

Top Tier List:

Jungle Tier List:

Mid Lane Tier List:

ADC Tier List:

Support Tier List:

To see all the explanations for our expert picks and more, head to our tier list feature!

Top – Shen

Shen is a dominant force in the top lane, heavily benefiting from the current state of Sunfire he’s not only still capable of assisting his team with his powerful ult but his damage output is really crazy for a tank.

He can go toe-to-toe with most melee champs in lane thanks to his shroud and the damage available on his Q.

If you’re keen on being a teamplayer by taking a tank but still want to be able to win lane then Shen is the champion for you.

Jungle – Udyr

Udyr is looking really solid at the moment. The phoenix changes we saw a few patches ago put him in a decent spot but with Sunfire being as strong as it is he’s really found his place in the meta.

Midgame his damage output is insane and he feels almost unkillable unless the enemy team has significant damage to focus him down.

Quick tip: Take your Q level 1, even though you’re going Phoenix. Having a point in Q will help your clear speed particularly on your single target camps, in the end, you only lose out on a point in your E later which doesn’t really matter.

Mid – Galio

We saw widespread nerfs to AP items on this patch but Hextech Rocketbelt has managed to still come out in a decent spot. The damage was toned down slightly but the critical thing is even with a nerf, the movement speed buff is still powerful enough for Galio to keep abusing.

Galio’s AOE taunt is super powerful and capable of winning teamfights, his biggest issue is getting into a good position.

With the extra movement speed from Rocketbelt and Predator too, he can glide into the enemy backline for an easy teamfight win.

Bottom – Vayne

Vayne is a big Kraken Slayer utilizer, with the on-hit passive and the attack speed Mythic passive it’s a perfect item for her.

Big buffs came in this patch for it, more AD, more damage on the proc, and a higher ratio means Vayne’s in a perfect spot to deal with all these tanks that have been running rampant.

If she’s a comfort pick for you then it’s prime time to start carrying some games.

Support – Bard

Bard is a pretty big sleeper pick at the moment, he’s a massive abuser of Imperial Mandate and that item is really powerful.

Able to proc it with his Q, Meeps, and even his ultimate, it gives him the extra damage to really pack a powerful punch.

Bard has always been a powerful SoloQ champ with his roaming potential although he’s a bit tricky to master, if you’re looking for a challenging but rewarding champ to invest time into then Bard is looking like a great option right now.

Optimal (S-tier) = Kha’Zix, Kayn, Skarner, Sejuani, Amumu, Nunu + Willump, Hecarim, Zac

Format and Methodology

Our difficulty ratings focus on how long it would take to start seeing a champion’s power level on our list in terms of the number of games invested.

Higher skill floor champions will scale better with time investment – Severe champs will outperform Simple champs in the long run because Simple champs generally have their weaknesses exposed the higher you climb.

So if your question is, ” How long until I’ll start seeing results?”, the answer would be harder = longer time, easier = shorter time. If your question is. ” Will this champion still be strong as I climb in ranks?”, the answer would be harder = moreso, easier = less so.

Disclaimer #1: If a champion isn’t on our Tier List, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you can’t climb with them. You’ll just have to put in more effort to get similar results as our Optimal, Great, and Good choices for climbing.

Disclaimer #2: This list is meant to evaluate the champions that we believe are best for climbing Solo Queue. Although there can certainly be some overlap, we are NOT looking to name the champions that are the best in pro-play or organized, competitive 5 on 5. This is why champs that require a ton of team coordination such as Ryze, may not be included or ranked highly.

As always, we welcome all discussion and feedback. If you have any questions about picks that we didn’t expand on or would like to let us know how you feel about Patch 10.24 and our predictions in general, join us in our Discord! The Best Support Champions In Lol: Tiered Ranking List For Patch 11.7

If you want to climb the ranked ladder while playing support, you need to pick up these champions.

The support role in League of Legends can often be a thankless job. A good support can go by relatively unnoticed during the game, but playing poorly gets you ruthlessly flamed.

The types of supports in League can be split into three categories: Enchanters, engagers, and poke supports. While there are some champions who crossover into multiple categories, it’s a pretty safe golden triangle to go by.

Enchanter supports, like Soraka or Nami, focus on keeping the bot lane carry alive through the laning phase with heals and shields. Enchanter supports usually go well into poke supports because they can out sustain the poke, but struggle into engagers due to a lack of mobility and relative squishiness.

Engage supports, like Alistar or Leona, look to all-in the enemy bot lane during the laning phase with crowd control and high early game damage. They can capitalize on enchanters during the laning phase because of their lack of poke, but can’t deal with poke supports effectively as they whittle down your health before you can even think about engaging.

Poke supports, like Zyra or Brand, succeed by annoying the enemy laners as much as possible with long-range abilities, forcing them to waste their potions or heals. If an enemy gets greedy, they also have a fair amount of burst in their kits to delete them from Summoner’s Rift. Because of this, they can deal with engage supports, but enchanters can usually out sustain a poke support’s mana pool, rendering their poke ineffective.

With this in mind, let’s break down the top five supports for League’s Patch 11.8.

Thresh

Pros

Well-rounded kit

Lantern acts as an engage or escape tool for teammates

Can deny dashes with properly timed flays

Flexible buildpath

Cons

Thresh will always be one of the best supports in League. He’s never really out of the meta since his Death Sentence hook can change the flow of a game immediately. His early laning damage with Flay makes trading with him almost impossible, while he can bail out his allies with a well-timed lantern.

He can have a huge impact across the map once he gets Boots of Mobility and any of the newly released Mythic items. You benefit from most of them, so it’s a matter of game state to see which item is better for you.

Item build

The Resolve tree is essential on Thresh because it makes you tankier, which is crucial for any melee support. Aftershock gives you additional armor and magic resist when you throw some crowd control on an enemy, which you have plenty of in your kit.

As with every melee support, you’re going to have issues with taking towers, but Demolish is here to help you. It allows you to get some early tower plates if you get close to the enemy tower and give some additional income to your ADC. Bone Plating alongside Overgrowth’s goals give you additional health as the game goes longer and make you harder to kill for assassins and during the laning phase where you’re vulnerable.

The Inspiration tree gives some additional early sustain via the Biscuit Delivery rune and the additional item and summoner spell haste is always welcome.

Ability priority

Game plan

Thresh is a melee support who excels at locking targets down and bringing his jungler from the fog of war for a surprise gank or saving his carry from a dive with a well-timed lantern. His goal is to engage most of the time, but in teamfights, you should analyze if it’s a good idea to engage or be the peel your carries need. A well-timed ult alongside Flay and hook will allow your carries to survive longer and deal the damage you need to win teamfights.

Always look to roam and help your top and mid laners to ensure they snowball and have enough support from you to allow them to carry the game. Remember to communicate your game plan with your jungler to ensure that you’re on the same page. This will help you win more games in the long run.

Senna

Pros

Cons

Senna’s kit is unique since she’s a mix between a support and marksman. She has high poke and all of her abilities offer protection and aggressive plays. Senna may be squishy, but she can lock down an enemy while keeping her team alive, which is an amazing combination to have. She is currently being played mostly as a support or as an ADC who funnels gold into her support. This tactic allows her to have a large amount of passive stacks to increase her damage.

Item build

The Inspiration primary tree is essential for Senna. Glacial Augment makes her obnoxious for enemies to deal with and buys you enough time to keep doing damage or run away from the enemy. Biscuits will grant you additional sustain during the laning phase, while Approach Velocity alongside boots make you more mobile. The secondary Precision tree grants you the needed mana to spam your abilities, while Alacrity grants you the attack speed you won’t get from items.

Ability priority

Game plan

Senna is an infinite-scaling ADC support. She gains more damage and stats as the game goes on. Your goal is to poke early on and try to pick up souls to get to your power spikes as soon as possible. Use Glacial Augment to get easier W procs on enemies and allow your ally to poke without retaliation. If the enemy jungler comes to gank, use your E on yourself and your ally to escape safely since you can’t be targeted by ranged champions under the shroud.

Always keep an eye out for teammates with your ultimate once you reach level six. Act like a primary damage dealer once you get some items and stacks. Aim to pick up Kraken Slayer before you decide to group up for teamfights. The item will allow you to have a huge damage output as a support and take over teamfights while your teammates are getting pinned down.

Leona

Pros

Great initiator

Innate tankiness

Lots of crowd control in her kit

Cons

Melee

Relies on follow-up from teammates

No get-out abilities once engaged

Leona is the epitome of an all-in champion. Once you’re in, you can’t back out. You get dragged into the fray with her Zenith Blade and if it was a bad engage, you’ll pay the price. But her presence is terrifying and her crowd control gives you an opportunity to keep enemies at a safe distance from the carry. Leona is the kind of support that can play the lane both aggressively and defensively. Her mere presence in the lane can force enemy laners into playing safer.

Item build

Aftershock is the go-to rune for tank supports, especially those who have no way of getting out. Once you go in, you need to commit to your plays. The amount of CC you have should keep a target locked down and allow your team to burst it down. Demolish will help you take towers, while Bone Plating combined with Overgrowth will make you difficult to kill for the first couple of seconds of your engage. The Inspiration secondary helps you have some extra sustain from biscuits and less cooldown on your abilities and summoners.

Ability priority

Game plan

Try to understand your matchup. If it’s defensive, try to stay in between your ADC and the enemy support and ADC to allow them to farm up safely. If it’s an aggressive matchup, try to look for ways to catch them off guard and engage on them when they go for last hits.

You should aim to get to level six as soon as possible and look for ways to help your jungler gank other lanes or set up a gank in the bottom lane to secure a drake. In teamfights, either be the initiator if required or peel for your carries by sitting behind and locking down divers.

Blitzcrank

Pros

Fun to play

Low cooldown hooks

Ultimate which breaks shields

Cons

Blitzcrank has always been popular in solo queue due to his basic hook ability. The recent resurgence of support champions that rely on shields, though, made Blitzcrank even more popular due to his ability to destroy shields with his ultimate.

He’s also a great counter to squishy champions since a well-timed hook can delete them and turn the tide of a fight in your favor.

Item build

The Resolve tree is essential on Blitzcrank because it makes him tankier, which is crucial for any melee support. Aftershock gives you additional armor and magic resist when you throw some crowd control on an enemy with your Q or E and is easy to enable.

As with every melee support, you’re going to have issues with taking towers, but Demolish is here to help you. It allows you to get some early tower plates if you get close to the enemy tower. Bone Plating and Overgrowth’s goals are to give you additional health as the game goes longer and make you harder to die to assassins and during the laning phase.

The Inspiration tree gives some additional early sustain via the Biscuit Delivery rune and the additional item haste is always welcome. You’ll be able to use your items and summoner spells more often as well, basically providing two great things combined in one rune.

Ability priority

W is maxed second for mobility. Max E last since it doesn’t increase a lot in power with each level, making it less useful compared to Q and W.

Game plan

As a melee support, you want to be careful during the laning phase. Try to land some hooks and punish the enemy bottom lane when they go to farm. With Blitzcrank, you’re weak against ranged champions since you have no sustain and a small passive shield on a high cooldown-so every little mistake adds up.

As the game goes by, invest as much as you can into vision and look for hooks across the map. If you see an overextending enemy in the mid or top lane, try to go for a roam and snowball that lane. Don’t stay with your ADC for the entire laning phase since you can easily pick up kills in other lanes if you land a hook.

Alistar

Pros

Strong crowd control

Very tanky due to ultimate

Cons

Alistar has become one of the most powerful supports recently thanks to his crowd control and innate tankiness due to his ultimate. He is a great blind-pick champion since he benefits from many of the new Mythic items and can withstand most laners in the current meta.

With a lot of support players prioritizing Leona, Nautilus, and Blitzcrank in their games, Alistar can be a great counterpick to help out your carry in the bottom lane by having a great answer when the enemies attempt to engage. You can easily stop them in their tracks and give enough time for your carry to walk to a safe position.

Item build

The Resolve primary tree is the core for tanky engage supports. You want to go for Aftershock for the additional tankiness it provides to ensure that you survive for long enough for your team to back you up. Demolish is taken to help you take the tower plates to snowball, Conditioning for its additional armor and magic resist in the later stages of the game, and Overgrowth to increase your overall health pool.

The Inspiration secondary is designed to give you access to Hexflash when your Flash is on cooldown to be able to engage from unconventional angles, while Cosmic Insight will give you access to your summoner spells and items more often.

Ability priority

Game plan

Alistar is one of the most powerful tanky champions in the game and can provide a lot of utility to his team even without any items. His ultimate allows you to survive for long periods of time against most champions who don’t have a source of true damage available to them. Early on, aim to land W-Q combos on the opposing bottom lane to get favorable trades. Before you engage, remember that you don’t have a disengage tool. If you commit to such trades, make sure your health pool allows you to do this.

As the game progresses, aim to roam to other lanes while putting vision around the map to give your allies ways to see if any enemies are looking for a gank. Look to engage on overextended opponents to get kills and help your team snowball. Always keep a vision ward in your inventory to ensure that you can take objectives any time you want by denying your opponents’ vision.

Xin Zhao phát âm khá giống Win Now.

Positive Adjectives: The Ultimate List

Instead, using positive language is a great way to avoid problematic interactions, get a better communication experience, and create a friendly, supportive atmosphere for the other person!

Positive adjectives make it easy to compliment others and put them at ease.

But what exactly are positive adjectives? What are some examples of these adjectives? And finally, what are some synonymous adjectives you could use? We will talk about this more, but first, let’s start with a simple question:

What Are Positive Adjectives?

Positive adjectives describe a person, place, thing, idea, or experience in a good, positive way.

These words can express different positive emotions, such as love, hope, happiness, and joy. Using these adjectives can make others feel motivated, uplifted, confident, or encouraged.

Most importantly for non-native speakers, positive adjectives can help ensure that your conversations remain cheerful and friendly.

List of Positive Adjectives A-Z

So, in order to better understand positive adjectives, we will divide this list into two parts: adjectives to describe personalities (of people) and adjectives to describe appearance (people or objects).

For each word, we will provide a simple definition and a couple of synonyms. This way, you can learn more words and build your vocabulary!

Positive Adjectives for Emotions, Personality, and Feelings

While there are adjectives to describe pretty much anything, many positive adjectives are reserved for describing people. More specifically, many positive adjectives describe a person’s emotions, personality, general behavior, and feelings.

Let’s look at a few common positive adjectives for describing a person’s intangible characteristics:

A-C D-H I-P R-W Positive Adjectives for Appearance

Positive adjectives don’t have to describe personality and feelings. In fact, there are plenty of adjectives to describe the appearance of things as well. Many of these adjectives are positive and can apply to both people and things.

Let’s look at a few common positive adjectives to describe appearance:

Common Synonyms for “Good”

Some of the most common positive adjectives are simply variations of the word “good.” Rather than using the same word to describe everything that is positive, the following adjectives can be used in place of “good” to amplify its meaning:

Conclusion

We hope this list of positive adjectives was helpful! Remember, if you want to avoid being rude or accidentally expressing negative sentiments, the words above are a great place to start. You’ll also want to learn both positive and negative adjectives so that you will have a better understanding of which words to use at what time, depending on the context of your conversation. Adding any of these positive adjectives to your vocabulary will help keep your English conversations cheerful and friendly.

Now that you know what these adjectives mean, can you use them correctly in real life conversations? We’ve invited our lead instructor to shed some light on the usage of a couple of these words that are particularly challenging to students.

Many students falter on these adjectives because they don’t have opportunities to use them in their daily lives. SpeakUp is built to solve exactly that problem: you can practice newly learned vocabulary in live group sessions, with immediate feedback from an experienced native English teacher. This helps turn passive knowledge into active language skills. And you will get to understand the nuances of these words in context. Sign up for a trial today!
